Send us the clip everyone needs
Paste a public video link, name the original creator, and tell us why it deserves another watch.
The practical bits
What to send with your clip
A good submission gives us a working source, clear credit, and permission to share it with the Clip Riot audience.
A public source link
Send the original post or a public video link. Do not upload a screen recording when the source post is available.
The creator’s handle
Give the original creator’s @handle and platform. If you made it, say so and use the handle you want credited.
Permission to repost
Only submit clips you made, own, or have permission to share. Tag the creator or include written approval if it is someone else’s work.
Credit stays with the person who made it
If we feature a submission, we link or credit the original creator in the post where the platform allows it. We may trim, crop, caption, or format a clip for the feed, but we do not claim authorship.
Do not submit stolen clips, watermarked reposts with the credit removed, private videos, or footage that puts someone at risk. If a creator asks us to correct credit or take a clip down, they can contact us with the original link.
Browse clip categoriesQuestions before you submit
Can I submit a clip I found?
Yes, if you include the original source and creator’s handle, and you know it is public and okay to repost. If you cannot identify the original creator, do not send it.
Do I need to own the clip?
You need to be the creator, rights holder, or have permission from them. Sending a link does not transfer ownership to Clip Riot.
What happens when a clip is featured?
We may publish it on Clip Riot’s feed, category pages, or a future Best Of collection. We will use the creator credit you provide and may contact you if we need to clarify it.
Can I ask for a credit change or removal?
Yes. Email us from the account connected to the original post, include the source link, and explain the change needed. We review creator requests as quickly as we can.
Why was my submission not posted?
Not every funny clip fits the feed. We may pass because the link is unavailable, credit is unclear, permission is missing, or the clip has already made the rounds.
